If your phone has the setting for adb over tcp/ip (in developer options) you can use adb to push/pull over wifi too, but an easier way for wireless file transfers in my opinion is to just install an ftp server on android phone. With adb you can push and pull files, also 'adb shell' gives you shell prompt.įor file transfers with cable, mtp is easiest. If you enable usb debugging, it will work with adb or fastboot but these are not preinstalled with bodhi. If you enable usb tethering, bodhi will use the network connection from your phone. If you set phone as mtp device, you can browse with bodhi's file manager everything in the "Internal Storage" (/sdcard) folder. If you set phone as usb hard disk (only old android supports this) it'll appear as usb drive. It should automatically charge without having to enable anything on your phone. Once connected, enable what you want on the phone. Try turning over the cable or moving the two devices closer in such cases.
